Summer Camp Registration
We appreciate your patience as we transition to new software providing a more seamless and user-friendly registration process. Registration will be done through Fun Join from now on. You will no longer need to email our Registrar, Adriana, any of your registration documents. We are excited to make this process as easy as possible for everyone.
Please note that the process has changed slightly. You will need to “apply” to a session and pay a refundable deposit of $25 to secure your spot in a camp session. This new measure is in place to prevent no-shows and ensure all necessary registration documents are completed before your camper arrives.

Holiday Home Camp – Frequently Asked Questions
About Holiday Home Camp
Founded in 1887, Holiday Home Camp is a nonprofit summer camp on beautiful Lake Geneva in Williams Bay, WI. We serve children ages 6–13 from a 2-hour radius, offering sliding scale pricing and free transportation from Milwaukee, Chicago, Rockford, Kenosha, and Madison.
How Much Does Camp Cost?
We operate on a sliding scale — you pay what you can afford. NO CAMPER will be turned away due to inability to pay! Campers receive everything they need during their stay, and free transportation is provided from major cities.
- Chicago, Milwaukee, Kenosha, Madison and Rockford
What Should Campers Bring?
- Comfortable gym and water shoes
- Socks, underwear, swimsuit, clothes for a week at camp
- All items should be labeled
- All medications must be in original packaging with clear instructions. A physician’s note is required for any changes.
If you need or have forgotten anything, we have your camper covered!
Leave These Items at Home
- Money, electronics, and valuables ( NO CELL PHONES!)
- Pets or personal sports equipment
You read that right, no cellphones… But why?
Cell phones aren’t allowed at summer camp for several important reasons that support a healthier, safer, and more enriching camp experience:
-
Encourages Connection with Others
Camp is all about making new friends, engaging in group activities, and building a sense of community. Cell phones can create social barriers, pulling campers into screens instead of real-life interactions. -
Supports Independence and Growth
Being away from home — without constant communication — helps kids build confidence, problem-solving skills, and resilience. It’s an important step in learning independence. -
Protects Privacy
Phones with cameras can unintentionally violate the privacy of other campers and staff. Keeping phones out helps us maintain a safe, respectful space for everyone. -
Minimizes Distractions
Camp is full of adventure, creativity, and discovery. Phones distract from the immersive outdoor experience that camp is designed to provide. -
Reduces Risk of Loss or Damage
Expensive electronics can easily be lost, damaged, or stolen in an active camp environment. Leaving them at home prevents that stress.
How Are We Funded?
We keep camp accessible through events, our annual fundraiser, retreats, team-building programs, challenge course rentals, grants, and private donations.
Who Can Attend?
- Ages 6–13
- Live within a 2-hour radius or use our transportation locations
- Independent in self-care and able to participate in group settings
We welcome all backgrounds, identities, and abilities. Applications are open until we hit capacity!
How Many Kids Attend?
We serve 120 campers each session, grouped by age for the best camp experience possible.
What Activities Do You Offer?
- Lake activities: swimming, kayaking, tubing
- Archery and sports
- Arts and crafts
- Campfires, songs, and skits
- Nature exploration and challenge courses
Year-Round Opportunities
We host retreats, challenge course programs, and facility rentals with meals and lodging available year-round.
